-Login to your YouTube account and search for a video that you want to convert into a GIF. Go to the address bar at the top and copy the URL of the video, you can do this by shading the entire address and pressing the key combination "Ctrl + C" in Windows or "Command (⌘) + C" macOS.
-Go to the “https://giphy.com/” website, there you must create an account and log in to be able to use this function. Once done, go to the top of the screen and tap on "Create", which is identified with a neon cross, and select the "Create" option.
-A new screen will open where you must paste the link of the YouTube video that you want to convert into GIF, to do this use the keyboard commands "Ctrl + V" from Windows or "Command (⌘) + V" from macOS.
-Wait for the system to process the information and show you a timeline on the right side of the screen. You just have to move the bars to the section of the video you want to convert to GIF. Select a playback range of 30 seconds, which is the maximum that can be converted.
Once you have selected the range of YouTube video that you want to convert into GIF, press the "Continue create" button. It will create it and then you can download it.
-You can customize the GIF by adding a name, description, styles, tags and other elements. In the end it will remain in your Giphy records, where you have options to share it by link or embed it on other web pages.
